Zebra's Bistro Hosts Local Beer Dinner on July 24

Summer is a great time to kick back with a local brew. So Zebra’s Bistro and Wine Bar in Medfield is hosting a five-course dinner on Wednesday, July 24 featuring beers from the New England area paired with dishes made using produce and herbs from Zebra's kitchen garden, as well as the gardens from chef Brendan Pelley and owner Craig Neubecker. Combinations include grilled littleneck clams in roasted tomato sauce paired with Southern Tier Brewing Company’s “Hop Sun, Summer Wheat” (Lakewood, NY), and beer-braised grilled pork ribs with hoisin BBQ sauce and pickled watermelon rind with Cody Brewing Company’s, “Wheeler’s Brown Ale” (Amesbury, MA). The dinner will be presented outdoors on the patio, weather permitting (6:30 PM; $60 per person; 508-359-4100).
