Volante Farms Features Sustainable 'Dinner in the Field' on August 3

Imagine a table set in a farm field overlooking sprouting stalks of corn, wild flowers in the distance, dangling Ball glass lanterns and laughter floating through the air. That’s the experience of Volante Farms’ Dinner in the Field, an evening of dining family-style at tables of eight among the crops, with attentive young servers and the farm’s chef, Todd Heberlein, acting as your culinary guide and guru. The Needham farm’s series continues Saturday, August 3, with the theme “Sustainable Sustenance,” a multicourse meal that will use the farm’s bounty of the season.
