The fifth annual Taste of the Farmers Market takes place Tuesday, July 16, the single best way to sample deliciousness from just about every stall at the historic landmark, which turns 79 this year. More than 50 restaurants and grocers serve nibbles throughout the night, including Loteria Grill, the Gumbo Pot, Monsieur Marcel, Fritzi Dog and Singapore's Banana Leaf, plus beer and wine and other sips. And bonus: parking is free for the day. Tickets are a mere $35 per person or $40 at the door; buy 10 or more, and you'll get 10% off. So grab a group of your favorite besties and swing by for the night. The party takes place from 5-9 PM, which leaves plenty of time to catch Pacific Rim at The Grove after. Get tickets here.
