Michael Solomonov will be leading a 10-day tour around Israel this autumn, and spots are now available. The trip will leave Sunday, October 6 and arrive in Jerusalem the next day, where the group will spend a day eating and exploring. The adventure continues with a hike through the Galilee, a visit with Dalia Rabin (the former Prime Minister's daughter), a evening at a spa and a camp out in a tent in the Negev.
The culminating event, and impetus for the trip, will be a tribute dinner to Solomonov’s brother David, who was killed on his final day of service in the Israeli army 10 years ago. The tribute feast will take place in an apple orchard in Metullah and will be prepared by a group of American chefs who will be traveling with the party.
The entire trip is billed at $6,750 per person (based on double occupancy). If you love the food at Zahav, are a big Michael Solomonov fan, or have just always wanted to eat your way through Israel, check out the full itinerary and contact Gil Travel at 215-568-6655 to find out more.
