After taking over the former Les Deux space in Hollywood a little more than a year and a half ago, Sadie Kitchen & Lounge is rebranding. Redoing everything, really: new design, chef, menu and setting up for DJs, live music and other forms of entertainment. The decor is more lounge-friendly, with a focus on the famed patio, and executive chef Jonathan Moulton (Lemon Moon Cafe) and Giovanni Martinez are in charge of food and drinks, respectively, with new additions like fried chicken and sweet potato waffles, ahi tuna taradito, Moroccan spiced grilled octopus and Negroni sours. Music will be more mellow during dinner hours but picks up later, in an effort to relive the Les Deux glory days. The kitchen is open late on weekends, which can't hurt.
