That omnipresent line for ramen at Daikokuya in Little Tokyo might get a little smaller now that a sister restaurant has landed in Little Osaka. Might. According to Eater, this fifth location (there are others in San Gabriel Valley and one in Hacienda Heights) is currently serving dinner at its new home on Sawtelle, with lunch to come soon. This replaces the former Jinya space, which has closed all but two locations, and with Tsujita and its annex nearby, the strip has quickly become noodle heaven. Daikokuya West's hours are 5 PM to midnight for now (2208 Sawtelle Blvd.; 310-575-4999).
