Milk and Honey Gets Windows, Petraske Launching Menswear Line

We dropped by the new location of Milk and Honey in Midtown the other night, and were happy to find that we could just walk in - the bar has relaxed its reservations policy and people can stroll in. We noticed that the unmarked venue is also getting something that would have been unheard of in M&H days gone by: windows. There was some plywood up front and it looks like the operators are putting the finishing touches on two curved pieces of glass so that passerbys can spy inside.

There were also a few ties hanging on the wall next to the bar (they were literally nailed into the wood). We inquired what the deal was with the garments, and it turns out that Sasha Petraske is launching a line of dapper threads known as Consolidated Menswear. It will have ties, suspenders and other bar-appropriate accessories - it's not available to the public yet, but will be soon.
