Max’s Wine Dive announced its upcoming “Eat.Drink.Empower” wine dinner featuring some of Austin’s best female chefs on August 24. Part of the proceeds from the cocktail hour and five-course meal with wine pairings benefit SafePlace, “a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing services for individuals and families suffering through incidents of domestic or sexual violence.”The whole state is standing behind Texas women right now, even our restaurants: today
So who are the chefs? Max’s Wine Dive’s Erica Beneke (who just competed on Chopped), Abby Yates of Swift’s Attic, Alexis Chong of Sway, Bridget Bishop of Westwood Country Club, Kenzie Allen of Searsucker and Kersten Knight of Perla’s.
