Learn the Art of Summer Salads Tonight at Lucia

If you're bored of the same basic salads you make daily, consider attending tonight's cooking class held by Donato Frattaroli, owner of Lucia Ristorante in Winchester and executive chef Pino Maffeo. You'll learn how to create five fresh, summer salads, including Italian potato salad; Caprese salad with balsamic vinaigrette; arugula salad with lemon vinaigrette; Italian tomato salad; and classic Sicilian orange salad made with blood oranges, fennel and EVOO. Class consists of a hands-on instruction followed by a family-style dinner afterwards ($60 per person; 6:30-9:30 PM; 781-729-0515).
