The locally focused chocolatier is not only a dessert destination. Stop by Katherine Anne Confections for a cup of chilled drinking chocolate or a truffle and make it a meal with the new lunch menu. Founder Katherine Duncan has partnered with local vendors to create salads and sandwiches that reflect her commitment to quality ingredients. Fruits, vegetables and greens from Seedling, Ellis and Hillside Farms will be combined with herbs from the restaurant’s garden to create the new menu items.

The two sandwich options are a salami with housemade mustard, pickles and butter with arugula on a crusty baguette or the tomato, basil and burrata sandwich with olive oil and balsamic on a baguette. Three types of salad feature everything from fresh raspberries with blue cheese and candied walnuts to avocado with vegan chipotle-lime vinaigrette. Every dish comes with a side of caramel, because who eats chips anymore? These items are available seasonally and will change every two weeks.
