Headlands Brewing Company Launches with Southpaw Dinner
Southpaw BBQ plays host to the official launch of Headlands Brewing Company with a special dinner on July 9. According to Serious Eats, the new local beer company is a partnership between Southpaw's brewer Phil Cutti, Pacific Brewing Laboratory co-founder Patrick Horn and Inna Volynskaya, formerly of Lagunitas Brewing Company. Headlands' first three releases - Pt. Bonita Rustic Lager, Hill88 Double IPA and Groupe G Belgian Ryepa - will be the centerpiece of a Southern meal with both carnivorous and vegetarian options including pan-fried quail with sunnyside quail eggs, smoked pulled goat with fry bread and roasted blue lake beans and red quinoa salad with tomato-cayenne vinaigrette. Tickets are $45 and limited to 30 people for each of two seatings (6 PM and 8 PM).
