If you’re a serious sushi fan, get in deep with your fish at the new Sushi School dinners at Pod. The conveyor belt sushi bar at the Stephen Starr pan-Asian is reason enough to head to West Philly for raw seafood, but now you can actually learn how the sausage sushi is made. Call to reserve a spot for an intimate class of just eight “students,” led by in-house masters Tomoyuki Takasu and Inkil Kim (aka“Mr. Kim”). Two sessions are available: 6-7:15 PM and 7:30-8:45 PM and along with the knowledge, the $35 class includes dinner, wine and a mini sushi kit to take home (215-387-1803).
