Fifth Floor Introduces Dessert Tasting Menu

Fifth Floor executive pastry chef Francis Ang is one of the city's quiet dessert heroes, which makes the news of his new four-course summer tasting menu a sweet prospect to show off his talents to wider recognition. He's serving a strawberry eucalyptus mochi (pictured) with frozen guava, eucalyptus powder and fennel; figs and sourdough with goat cheese, honey air and argan emulsion; black cardamom beignet with peach marmalade, coffee and caramel and a blueberry soufflé with corn tea anglaise and candied blueberries. The menu is $35 ($60 with wine pairings) and is available both in the restaurant and in the lounge area.
