Great news for the bivalve-besotted: There are more places than ever to get a mollusk fix on the Lower East Side. Seafood restaurant Grey Lady recently rolled out an oyster bar, in the next-door space that formerly housed their takeout concept Nor'east. On the menu: lobster, Jonah crab, shrimp and of course, oysters, served alone or as cocktails or toasts. Owner Ryan Chadwick tells us they're also doing oyster catering, if you're interested. Meanwhile, just down Delancey, Sel Rrose, the stylish new spot from the Home Sweet Home and Fig. 19 team, has added oysters to its menu. We also noticed newcomer Schapiro's has a $1 half-shell happy hour from 5-7 PM. And speaking of oyster happy hours, our favorite lately is at Preserve 24 on Houston, since it goes until 8 PM. Happy slurping!
