Eat-A-Pita Goes Upscale for Dinner

Wash West workers and residents in the know are familiar with the great flavors coming from the kitchen at Eat-A-Pita, the healthy fast-casual shop opened by Ralph Kane and Jamie Kelly last year. (The $10 pita pack, with sandwich, drink and dessert is a go-to lunch.) Now there’s a chance to explore the couple’s culinary talents in more detail: the restaurant will begin hosting monthly prix-fixe dinners with full, sit-down table service. The first one is set for Wednesday, July 24 August 21 at 7 PM.

The pair previously ran a fine-dining restaurant in Maine, as well as having spent time in the kitchen at Fork, so they’re definitely up to the challenge. This month’s New England themed menu features smoked clam chowder and Maine lobster paella, plus a blueberry bread pudding souffle for dessert. It will be BYO.
