Eat and Drink Like Ernest Hemingway at Cuba Libre

Ernest Hemingway is nearly as famous for his boozing as his books, and his love of Cuba is also legendary. This Sunday is his birthday (he would have been 114!) and in his honor Cuba Libre in Old City is running a set of food and drink deals from July 19-21.

Three cocktails made with Hemingway-favorite pisco will go for $10 each, including what looks an incredibly refreshing Porton Sparkler with grapefruit juice and champagne. A set of seafood bar bites goes for $5-$6 and includes mussels with pork belly, and there’s also a special $29 surf and turf dinner option. Check out more details below and raise one to the Old Man and the Sea author as you dream about diving the ocean this weekend (215-627-0666).
