Dark Matter Coffee Celebrates Five Years With Anniversary Blend

Who knew an indie coffee shop with a Cheshire cat painted on its side and a steampunk roaster had such staying power? After five years, Dark Matter Coffee is still roasting some of the finest beans and brewing them fresh at Star Lounge Coffee Bar. To celebrate its anniversary, the roasters acquired some very specials beans from Finca San Jose, Sonsonate, El Salvador to create the Cherry Bomb Blend. The triple-processed beans are natural, which adds a bing cherry flavor, pulp-natural, which infuses a rich dark chocolate body, and washed, which finishes the beans with red fruit acidity. That’s coffee-talk for great coffee.

Only 500 bags of beans will be sold at Star Lounge and online. But wait, that’s not all! In addition to coffee, five bags have a golden ticket inside. These tickets could turn into a free pound of Cherry Bomb, a limited edition Cherry Bomb mixtape or three-day passes to Pitchfork. The coffee roaster returns to the music festival for the second year with two booths serving Dark Matter Coffee and Chocolate City facials, AKA a face full of iced coffee. Join them by buying a bag ASAP, because two golden tickets already have been claimed.
