Clover Food Lab owner Ayr Muir temporarily shuttered all Clover locations and food trucks on Friday, July 12 due to an alleged salmonella outbreak, according to Boston Business Journal.

Out of the 12 people who reportedly became sick due to the outbreak, no one has been hospitalized or has died, said Muir in his recent blog post. And to avoid further contamination, the staff is being tested for salmonella, and all areas will be disinfected.

Muir has continued to disclose information to the public and his fans via Clover website. In a July 16 post he said: "It was really scary to post the other day. I thought, well, this is what we do, we talk about what's happening openly and honestly. But yikes. When I committed to transparency I didn't really have something like this in mind."

The website states that the locations will be “closed until further notice.”
