Get ready to scream for ice cream. The weekly pop-up shop, Jove T.’s Ice Cream Shop, returns to David Burke's Primehouse every Friday from 3-5 PM. Flavors change weekly and are announced on the restaurant’s Facebook and Twitter pages (312-660-6000).
See the live version of this month’s Food & Wine magazine during a cooking demo at Belly Q. The demo includes recipes from the magazine including Lola's roast chicken with sambai chimichurri, spiced shrimp with tomato salsa and avocado, and corn on the cob with curry mayonnaise and chile salt. Indonesian pop-up restaurant The Rice Table celebrates grilling month with some extra spice at Vincent. The four-course menu features three types of sateh, including marinated and grilled mussel skewers as well as fired beef and potato-stuffed jalapeno. Tickets cost $45 and are available online.
