Arro to Open on July 20

With all of the restaurant openings happening around town, summer really is the best time of year in Austin. And on Saturday, July 20, highly anticipated Arro will join the club. The new restaurant from the folks behind 24 Diner and Easy Tiger is situated in the old Haddington’s space on West Sixth Street, and its French-inspired fare runs the gamut from casual (croque monsieur sandwiches on Easy Tiger bread) to composed plates (steak and frites). Also be sure to hit up the three-course prix fixe meal for $25. Two master sommeliers in town curated the wine list, and you’ll also find beer and killer cocktails on the menu.

The interior’s design draws inspiration from Marcel Duchamp and the Modernist, Dada and Surreal movements. Here’s hoping that doesn’t include a readymade “fountain” (read: urinal) in the dining room.
