Alamo Drafthouse Opens Glass Half Full Bar

Three very full glasses
The new Alamo Drafthouse location in Lakeline features the Drafthouse’s first stand-alone bar. Glass Half Full “bridges the gap between the beer drinker and the cocktail drinker,” beverage director Bill Norris says. He continues,
"Local beer like (512) Pecan Porter finds its way into cocktails and beer components like hops and malt find their way into classic drinks like daiquiris and gimlets.  Craft brewers spend so much time creating flavor in their brews, that we just want to build on the templates they're laying down for us."
Think a 90% Texan lineup of 32 craft beers from places like Real Ale and Austin Beerworks with nine rotating taps of special and seasonal beer selections. The bar also offers a variety of classic cocktails, house cocktails (think peaches and herb with peach whiskey and the Full Scotch-Irish Breakfast with bonded rye, stout, maple, lemon curd, whole egg, mole bitters and nutmeg) and beer mixes (Elderflower Snake Bite, Black Velvet with Guiness Stout and sparkling wine).

Hang out at the bar before and after your movie, or order drinks from your seat as you enjoy the film.

The Lakeline location opens soon, on July 22.
