Zahav Down the Shore 4: Crazy Good Menu for a Crazy Fun Night

The party takes place at Morgan's Pier on the Delaware
We just got our hands on the menu for the fourth installment of Zahav’s annual Down the Shore bash, and it looks just as great as Monday's “Klezmer Inferno” disco party promises to be. Eight guest chefs are cooking signature summer dishes - including spit-roasted lamb from Jennifer Carroll and sausage corn dogs from John “Chainsaw” Taus.

Tickets are still available to the July 1 event ($85; here), and they include all these dishes plus a full buffet dinner (because the menu below would definitely not be enough...). Michael Solomonov and his team at Zahav will be serving soft shell crabs with almond tarator (yogurt sauce) and BLTs with housemade bacon, among other warm-weather-appropriate bites. You’ll have to dance your butt off to make up for all the eats, but there will be plenty of music, so it's a win-win situation.

Erin O’Shea of Percy Street Barbecue -  pork tenderloin with grilled sweet onions
Terence Feury of Tavro 13 - "actual" crab fries (fries made out of crab meat), avocado mousse, preserved lemon
Nick Macri of Southwark - grilled bologna and potato salad on a Martin’s potato roll
Top Chef’s Jen Carroll - roasting lamb on a spit over open coals
Lucio Palazzo of La Calaca Feliz - octopus escabeche, potato garnacha
John Taus of The Corner - breakfast sausage corn dogs, jalapenos, maple dip
Peter Woolsey of Bistrot La Minette - smoked beef tongue, rye, mustard
David Katz of Creekstone Farms - brisket chili cheeseburgers with onions
