Tickets Still Available for Slow Food Chicago’s Pig Roast

Despite the fact that there are 15 food-driven events happening on Sunday, give or take, there is one more we’d like to draw your attention to - Slow Food's fifth annual pig roast with Goose Island Beer Company. The event brings together six chefs including Paul Fehribach (Big Jones), Rob Levitt (The Butcher & Larder) and Beverly Kim (Kendall College) to roast Duroc hogs, pasture-raised at Gunthorp Farms in Lagrange, IN.

The $70 ticket price includes food from each chef in addition to a vegetarian dish and desserts from Sarah Mispagel (Nightwood). Each guest will also receive a commemorative glass to fill with Goose Island beer while rocking out to tunes from CHIRP radio. Proceeds benefit Slow Food, an educational non-profit that promotes a sustainable and clean food production. Purchase tickets online.
