Roberta's is playing host to an event dubbed "Pig and Pies," which will showcase fare from S. Wallace Edwards & Sons, a curemaster that is bringing hams, sausages and bacons to NYC (you can already see some of these foodstuffs being used by top chefs like David Chang). The party is $55 and includes plenty of pork, beer and wine. It's in the garden from 5-7 PM.Two swine-centric events are coming up in the next couple of days, and we're oinking with delight. On Fridays,
Fatty 'Cue just announced a pretty sweet deal at its two restaurants. This Sunday, both locations will launch a five-course tasting menu that will feature old and new dishes. The meal is available Sunday through Wednesday and costs $39 in Williamsburg and $49 in the West Village. Sure, Manhattan is more expensive, but both are still crazy-good deals.
