Pig Out: Pork-Centered Deals This Week at Roberta's, Fatty 'Cue

Two swine-centric events are coming up in the next couple of days, and we're oinking with delight. On Fridays, Roberta's is playing host to an event dubbed "Pig and Pies," which will showcase fare from S. Wallace Edwards & Sons, a curemaster that is bringing hams, sausages and bacons to NYC (you can already see some of these foodstuffs being used by top chefs like David Chang). The party is $55 and includes plenty of pork, beer and wine. It's in the garden from 5-7 PM.

Fatty 'Cue just announced a pretty sweet deal at its two restaurants. This Sunday, both locations will launch a five-course tasting menu that will feature old and new dishes. The meal is available Sunday through Wednesday and costs $39 in Williamsburg and $49 in the West Village. Sure, Manhattan is more expensive, but both are still crazy-good deals.
