Lillie’s Q Bourbon Barrel Aged Smoky BBQ is special for two reasons. The first is that is was aged in bourbon barrels. The second is that it survived the fire that almost shut down the Bucktown restaurant for good. The restaurant repaired damages and reopened last week, and will sell the only 200 bottles of the sauce at the restaurant and French Market location. The bottles go on sale tomorrow at 11 AM. Each 16-oz. glass bottle features a black and gold label and is sealed with hand-dipped black wax. It retails for $15, but something this rare might just make an appearance on the BBQ black market.
