The 2013 Food & Wine Classic in Aspen is kicking off in less then 24 hours and we'll be onsite all weekend to cover the seminars, parties and goings-on and will be sharing photos, interviews and more. Tickets for the weekend are sold out but here's a taste of some of the events we'll be covering, plus we'll also be bringing you coverage from some media-only parties not listed below. Stay tuned all weekend for updates.

10 AM - In the Kitchen with Top Chef -Newly crowned Top Chef winner (and Zagat 30 Under 30)  Kristen Kish will share the techniques that led her to culinary success on the popular Bravo show.

11:30 AM - Grand Tasting - Chefs and sponsors gather to offer up bites of their tastiest fare.

12 PM - Grand Cayman Cookout lunch, media only. Chef Eric Ripert prepares Cayman-inspired eats like he does for his famed lunch in the islands every year.

2 PM - Top Chef Leftover Challenge - Top Chef judges Gail Simmons and Tom Colicchio demonstrate how to best used leftovers to create an entirely new gourmet meal.

3:45 PM - Sicilian Summer Supper - Orange-haired toque Mario Batali does a cooking demo on how to recreate the flavors of Sicily.


10 AM - Best New Chefs All-Stars Panel - Food & Wine EIC Dana Cowin chats with heavy hitters Wylie Dufresne, Thomas Keller and Eric Ripert, all Best New Chef alums, about pivotal moments in their careers and more.

11:30 AM
 - Grand Tasting Day 2 - Chefs and sponsors gather to offer up bites of their tastiest fare.

2 PM - Meatball Master, Marcus Samuelsson - Red Rooster chef Marcus Samuelsson shows off the versatility of the Swedish meatball in this 45-minute seminar.

3:45 PM - Pairing the World's Most Difficult Foods - Marnie Old explains how to avoid common mistakes and how ingredients like sugar and lemon juice can throw off food and wine pairings.

8 PM - Best New Chefs Party, media only - Food & Wine's fete honoring this year's Best New Chefs showcasing the talents of John Besh, Thomas Keller, Daniel Boulud and David Chang.
