Get Your Weekend Yoga and Coffee Fix

Yoga on the lawn at the InterContinental Boston
What’s better than a little yoga before your yogurt and granola (or pancakes and coffee) on the weekends? There are two opportunities for downward dog before you indulge. On Saturdays, grab your yoga mat and head to the Intercontinental Boston where yoga classes are free and with a view; the classes are held on the lawn overlooking Fort Point Channel. Then treat yourself to breakfast at Miel Brasserie Provencal, also overlooking the water. The men includes yogurt and granola parfait, eggs Benedict, fruit pancakes and more. Yoga classes are held every Saturday, 9:30 AM, through Labor Day (6:30-11 AM breakfast, 11 AM-3 PM brunch; 617-217-5151).

Every Sunday, now through August 25, Aragosta Bar & Bistro at the Fairmont Battery Wharf features a yoga class hosted by Exhale Battery Wharf. It's an hour-long session that takes place on the Boston Harbor Walk, also overlooking the water (9 AM; $25 per class; mats and towels included; call 617-603-3100 to reserve a space or just walk in). Then participants can enjoy a special Mind Body Brunch at Aragosta, where you get a tasting plate that includes an egg white frittata with lobster, spinach and tomatoes; minted fruit salad; super food acai and blueberry smoothie; and an energizing green apple wheatgrass shot. The brunch also includes a choice of mimosa or triple pepper Caesar. Brunch is separate from the yoga class costs and is served 10 AM-2 PM ($25 per person, excluding tax and gratuity; 617-994-9001).
