  1. Lol the Gourmet Ghetto is upper Shattuck in North Berkeley. Not in the same region as Fourth Street. And c'mon guys, look at the 2nd and 3rd syllables in beergarden. It's a garden. Some trees, leaves. Foliage. Some picnic tables and pavement do not a beergarden make.

  2. Excellent lamb burger. Fantastic onion rings. Super flavorful wedge salad. Very comfortable spot to enjoy local beers and great food.

  3. Missing is the Olde Depot at Jack London Square where you can enjoy vegan pub fare and a craft beer from one of 39 taps.

  5. Your article isn't about the 510 - its about Oakland / Berkeley! Have you ventured out of that area?

Buffalo Bills & The Bistro in Hayward (right off Bart, incidentally), The Vine in Niles with its spectacular patio(Fremont), Falafel etc. in Fremont with its amazing secret garden. Too many to list. Take a look around.

  8. I have been to 4 of these spots in the past 2 weeks. Lungamore: food was good but a bit over priced and the restaurant seems kinda sterile. Forge: cool atmosphere, decent pizza. Moxie: wasn't impressed by much there but would make a good watering hole if I lived in the neighborhood. Brotzeit Biergarten: An awesome gem of a spot right on the water. Best schnitzel & German beer selection I have seen outside of germany. Will go back soon. Oh yeah, I've also been to linden st brewery. What's not to love about that place.
