The last restaurant to make the cut (fatty and lean) is The Salt Lick. Long a favorite place to take out-of-towners, the Driftwood and Round Rock joints know how to do smoked meat like nobody’s business. We recommend the family-style pig-out, with brisket, sausage, pork ribs, potato salad, coleslaw, beans and of course bread, pickles and onions.
And if you’re on your way out of town, get your fill at the airport location before you board your plane.
