AB Biagi Gelato Shop Now Open in SoHo

We may be about to break the June record for NYC rainfall, but it is still really hot out - what gives?! If you want a cool-down treat before the rain starts to fall, hit up AB Biagi, the city's newest gelato and coffee shop that just opened in SoHo this week. The store debuted on the super hot Elizabeth Street (current home to openings like The Musket Room) and combines traditional Italian gelato with Brazilian flavors.

The owner Antonio Barros Biagi grew up in Brazil and he incorporates ingredients like acai berry and white chocolate into his rotating selection of flavors, which you can watch being made in house in a traditional Italian batch freezer. These will be served alongside flavors like chocolate and pistachio which are available every day. Other items include coffee that's imported from Brazil and cookies, if you want to sate that sweet tooth sans chill.
