8 Dynamite Lobster Rolls Around LA

We may be on the West Coast, but East Coast-style lobster rolls have been making waves around town lately. There are the Cape Codders, who like their lobster meat chilled with a touch of mayo, maybe kissed by some lemon. Others might like theirs served a tad warm and drizzled with butter, the way they do it in Connecticut. We skew both ways, as long as the lobster meat is fresh, the buns are toasted and we can get as many as we want. Here are eight delicious lobster rolls you can find around Los Angeles right now. 2. Had a pretty good one at Santa Monica Seafood Market bar - they should toast the roll to make it a really good one!

  5. Finally, choices in obtaining a Lobster Roll - as a New Englander, tried for many years to get the rolls out here, get the lobster right and now I think several have finally done it. The Lobsta Truck is one, and Santa Monica Seafood has it almost right - if only the buns were center cut and grilled - that makes the Lobster Roll - crunchy outside, and cold and wonderful lobster inside! I could eat one every day!
