  9. This is a ZAGAT blog, so Yuppie is gonna be the norm. That being said, I don't think Ms. Ollie's is particularly yuppie. And how are you going to leave off 900 Grayson, Brown Sugar, Lois the Pie Queen, and Aunt Mary's just to name a few.

  10. Someone mentioned Cass Orinda, which should be :"Casa Orinda." Their fried chicken is spectacular, and several years ago (and it could still be done) Alica Waters of Chez Panisse reportedly cook her staff there periodically for the fried chicken!
