We'll say it: fried chicken is one of the greatest gifts to the culinary world. When it is done right, it is pure golden, crispy, salty, juicy bliss. Fried chicken varies mostly from preparation and coatings - buttermilk, spices, flour, breadcrumbs - both of which will result in a great crunch and flavor.   6. I can not believe this list did not include Furaibo in West LA and Gardena... almost unforgivable. This small LA favorite has it's gastropub roots from homeland Japan. I think every chef on this list would attest to this...
