Sweetgreen Will Bring Its Salads to Two New York Locations This Year

Washington, D.C.-based salad chain Sweetgreen is headed to the Big Apple, with a summer opening planned inside the NoMad Hotel and a shop later this year in Tribeca. The six-year-old company, known for using sustainable, local products and green business practices, is also expanding to Boston.

When Sweetgreen arrives, it will offer its signature creative salads, like the Guacamole Greens or miso-drizzled Misoba, as well as grain bowls, frozen yogurt and fresh juice (dubbed "Sweetpress"). If you're so gung-ho about the brand that you can't wait till summer, the fourth annual Sweetlife Festival takes place Saturday in Maryland, with Sweetgreen grub and music from the likes of Phoenix and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Tickets here.
