SmorgasBar Launching at South Street Seaport Memorial Day Weekend

By Kelly Dobkin
The Manhattan iteration of the crazy-popular Smorgasburg is kicking off Mary 25 at the South Street Seaport on Front Street as part of the See/Change campaign that offers a mix of retail, dining and events. The seven-day-a-week SmorgasBar offers a smaller array of vendors than its Brooklyn counterpart, but will feature eateries like Fonda, Asia Dog, Landhaus and Red Hook Lobster Pound for the debut with a rotating selection of vendors. A fair selection of regional brews from Sixpoint, Brooklyn Brewery and more will stock two bars onsite (one inside a shipping container) and a second atop a shipping container on Fulton Street.  Hours are 11AM - 10 PM Sunday through Thursday and 11AM-11PM Friday and Saturday.
