As Russell Jackson starts splitting his time between the West and East Coasts, the chef (and former Lafitte owner) is also launching a new regular schedule and format for his SubCulture Dining series here in San Francisco. What was previously an occasional event will now go down on the fourth weekend of each month beginning on June 28-29. Dinners will happen in a new and larger SF location thanks to a partnership that is being kept under wraps for now. For the first time, Jackson will also offer two tasting menu options: 3-5 or 10-15 courses, all paired with customized cocktails. Prospective diners can apply for membership on the SCD site for reservation access and further details. Jackson has been getting a lot of television experience lately. He recently battled over rhubarb on Iron Chef America and is a competitor on Food Network Star, which premieres on June 2.
