Rhong Tiam's Andy Yang is on the move again: word is the much-lauded chef will roll out his first of two food truck concepts on Wednesday in the Flatiron District. Dubbed Rhong Tiam Supreme Burger Truck, the mobile eatery will offer 10 kinds of Southeast Asian beef burgers, including Korean barbecue and eel-sauce varieties, along with Thai-flavored empanadas, salads and other grub.
Yang has a second truck in the works, essentially a mobile Rhong Tiam, as well as a cart that will sell chicken satay and empanadas. "It's so exciting to combine my passions for cooking and driving," says the chef. Follow the truck's whereabouts on Rhong Tiam's Twitter and Facebook pages.
