The folks over at Letherbee Distillers have been busy. Not only did they crank out a custom Malört with The Violet Hour’s bartender Robbie Hayes, but they also released a Vernal Gin. The spring gin has an intensely floral flavor due to an infusion of cornflower, rose hip and chamomile. To celebrate the release of the limited availability bottles, Scofflaw put the Malört on tap. Shots will be served for $3 as well as a Vernal Negroni with Letherbee Vernal Gin, Dolin Rouge and Campari for $6. In addition to the cocktails, Letherbee Vernal Gin-poached shrimp, asparagus tips, asparagus-lime posset, shaved pecan and micro greens will be on the food menu. The release party takes place tonight from 6 to 9 PM.
