Photo of the Day: Barley Swine's Bryce Gilmore at the James Beard Awards

The James Beard Award ceremonies were over the weekend and on Monday, but we just saw this fabulous paparazzi photo of Barley Swine’s Bryce Gilmore, who was nominated for the Best Chef: Southwest award.

 We chatted with Gilmore earlier this week about eating local, his much-anticipated Odd Duck brick-and-mortar space and the awards. Alas, he didn’t take home the gold on Monday night, but there’s always next year. And in the meantime, he and the Barley Swine crew are featured in this month’s Tribeza magazine and, of course, still run one of the hottest spots in town.
