Hurricane Sandy will not stop Jersey Shore vacationers this summer, the Huffington Post reports. According to a poll conducted by AAA Clubs of New Jersey, 69% of respondents plan to spend the same amount of time or more at the shore this summer, and 79% said the storm would not alter their travel plans. Half of the New Jersey residents polled plan to visit towns impacted by Sandy in order to help support local businesses. That's good news for a state that mounted a massive rebuilding effort ahead of this weekend's official start of summer.  All but one of the boardwalks destroyed by the storm should be open, amusement park rides have been restored and most beaches will be open, Fox News reports. Are you headed to the beach this summer? What are your travel plans?
