The "Oscars of the Food World," aka the James Beard Awards, are kicking off tomorrow night, with the Book, Broadcast and Journalism Awards. The party continues on Sunday night with the annual Chefs' Night Out, the infamous pre-Beard bash that we'll be filling you in on Monday morning. Then the awards themselves happen Monday night (Lights! Camera! Action! theme), hosted by Oliver Platt. We'll be bringing you coverage of the red carpet scene, what we heard in the press room and of course the full winner results themselves. (And let's not forget the after-parties!)
