GoogaMooga Announces Pop-Ups From Spotted Pig, Roberta's and Gabe Stulman

GoogaMooga alert! With the second year of the music/food festival less than ten days away, word comes today that there will be three pop-up eateries on-site from The Spotted Pig, Roberta's and Gabe Stulman (Chez Sardine, Fedora), and bonus - each one is themed! Roberta’s will rock an Urban Renaissance Faire, going all Elizabethan with medieval grub, knights, maidens, magical entertainers and music, including the iconic Tiki Disco. The Spotted Pig Haus will interpret a German beer garden with foot-long sausages, Teutonic treats, craft beer and sparkling wine on the menu. Gabe Stulman will set up his Little Wisco Seafood Boil & BBQ featured boiled crawfish and barbecued shrimp alongside bocce, cornhole and other games.

Also announced today is the lineup for Cafe GoogaMooga which will be an on-site tented coffee house of sorts that will feature special guest talks. (For more info on all of the above click here.) Here's what's on the roster:

  • Chef Amanda Cohen from Dirt Candy teams up with writer Grady Hendrix to talk about cooking, sex, food porn and female chefs.  
  • The Best Thing on Sliced Bread: A Sandwich Symposium with Caroline Fidanza of Saltie, Noah Bernamoff of Mile End Deli, Dan Holzman of The Meatball Shop and Beth Griffenhagen of Murray's Cheese
  • Lucky Peach presents How To Make a Food Magazine in 30 Minutes with Editor Peter Meehan, Art Director Walter Green and Artist Jason Polan.
