Last week, the Lower East Side gained yet another spot to slurp bivalves, this one from Rob Shamlian of nearby Spitzer's Corner, Fat Baby and the defunct Mason Dixon. The restaurant, which sits at the corner of Orchard and Stanton Streets, is a beauty - with French doors that open to the sidewalk, a long marble bar and vaguely vintage-looking back dining room. There are eight oysters daily from the east and west coasts, and a full food menu as well. Stop by from 5 PM onward on weekdays and noon - 4 AM weekends.
