Farmers’ Markets Return to the Singing Fountain and The Porch

Perfectly aligned with the warm weather, two farmers’ markets return for the season on Wednesday, May 22. At The Porch at 30th Street Station in West Philly, McCann's Farm will be vending from 11 AM-5 PM. Right now look for herbs, lettuce, honey, potted flowers and seedlings, a selection that will greatly expand as the summer progresses. The market joins the regular midweek food trucks (Taco Mondo, Vernalicious, Nomad Pizza and Buttercream Philly), who serve through 2:30 PM.

On East Passyunk, the Singing Fountain Farmers’ Market runs from 3-7 PM, and there will be a grand opening celebration from 4:30-6:30 PM with live music from the Passyunk Pickers. Expect to pick up cheese, eggs, honey, cut flowers, veggies, Amish baked goods and plenty of local preserves, pestos and nut butters from Green Aisle Grocery. It’s the beginning of bountiful times.
