Culinary School Docu-Drama The Freshman Class Premieres June 10

Well, it happened. A reality show docu-drama has emerged chronicling four freshman through culinary school in a new eight-episode series called The Freshman Class. Set at Louisiana Culinary Institute, the students range in age from 23 to 41 and whose current occupations range from stripper to marine to full-time mother of four. In a press statement, the show is described as: “The series chronicles the unique challenges each student faces with their varying backgrounds as they pursue their dream of becoming a professional chef. Culinary school is difficult and offers no guarantees, and these students all desperately want to do well at the institute to better their lives.” The Freshman Class will premiere on Cooking Channel on June 10 at 9:30 PM ET/PT. 1. Cooking programs on TV make the culinary industry more popular and competitive. TV shows pass some sort of branding in the industry. Anyway, I think this new TV show will be a blast for it has a unique concept and the drama will certainly make them feel hooked!
