Cinco de Mayo Roundup: Where to Get Your Margarita On This Sunday

Between the Kentucky Derby and Cinco de Mayo, it'll be a miracle if our livers survive this weekend. We've already told you where to drink for the former, but here's a roundup of some of the bars and restaurants offering food and drink specials for the latter. Get ready for one giant fiesta of a Sunday Funday!

STK Rooftop
Head to the rooftop bar at this Meatpacking District steakhouse for a special menu of Mexican bites and cocktails, plus a surprise DJ spinning festive tunes all day, from 1 PM on. (26 Little W. 12th St., 646-624-2444)

Hotel Americano
There's a brand-new pool opening on the rooftop of the Hotel Americano. Stop by for Latin DJs, tequila drinks and plenty of fun in the sun, starting at noon. (518 W. 27th St., 212-525-0000)

Hudson Hotel
Starting at 2 PM, Tequila Park at the Hudson Hotel will offer specials on margaritas and tacos, plus a live performance by indie rock flamenco band City of the Sun. (365 W. 58th St., 212-554-6000)

Rosa Mexicano
This Mexican mini-chain is serving up a special boozy brunch for Cinco de Mayo. Starting at 12 PM, you can enjoy huevos fritos y carnitas, mezcal-spiked bloody Marys and live mariachi music. (Various locations)

Brother Jimmy's
Half-price nachos and quesadillas + $20 Corona buckets + $40 margarita towers + all the friends you can round up on a Sunday afternoon = quite the Monday morning hangover. (Various locations)

Hudson Terrace
The second annual Mex Fest at Hudson Terrace will be a boozy fiesta of margaritas, beer and tequila shots... with food trucks like Morris Grilled Cheese Truck offering south-of-the-border-themed dishes to soak up the alcohol. Tickets cost $48 per person and include a costume (fake mustache and sombrero!), one drink and one Mexican treat. Festivities start at 11 AM. (621 W. 46th St., 212-315-9400)

The Tippler
Get in touch with your inner luchador at this party beneath Chelsea Market, offering mariachi music, a "Choose Your Own Adventure" margarita bar and the opportunity to take home one of ten exclusive, artist-made lucha libre masks. Nachos, too, natch. (425 W. 15th St., 212-206-0000)

This Lower East Side Mexican joint has two Cinco de Mayo events planned. From 12 to 4 PM, you can join them for a $18 boozy brunch that gets you three tacos and a margarita. From 5 to 10 PM, you get a free taco trio tasting with every $12 specialty cocktail you order. (165 Allen St., 212-253-8840)
