Chuy's Revenues Skyrocket 25% in First Quarter of 2013

Normally we don’t bother you with dollar signs and numbers, but this one was just too striking: Chuy’s profits jumped from $381,000 to $2.6 million in the first quarter of this year. That's a 25 percent increase, versus the rest of the industry's meager 2.3 percent, the Austin Business Journal reported on Tuesday. The beloved Austin institution actually runs 42 restaurants in nine states and is a publicly owned company.
