Chicago Craft Beer Week Hosts First West Loop Fest

In addition to the usual suspects at Chicago Craft Beer Week (the tap takeovers, beer dinners, $4 pint nights and dudes with beards), there is a new addition to this year’s lineup. The official closing ceremony will be a street festival outside the Chicago French Market on May 25. Over 30 breweries will pour at the West Loop Craft Beer Fest alongside French Market vendors such as Saigon Sisters, Lillie’s Q and Beavers Donuts who will be providing food. Tickets to the block party cost $40 for general admission at 1 PM and $65 forVIP admission at noon. VIP guests also get to sample rare craft beers in addition to early access to the rest of the beers and food. Tickets go on sale today at 10 AM.
