Bronwyn, the Central and Eastern European-inspired restaurant from chef Tim and Bronwyn Wiechmann, is slated to open at 255 Washington St. in Somerville’s Union Square on May 15. The couple owns and operates T.W. Food in Cambridge.

The menu will reflect Wiechmann’s German heritage, including the surrounding regions of Austria, Northern Italy, Poland, Romania and Hungary. Seasonally inspired ingredients from local farms will be used, matched by a selection of Central and Eastern European wine and beer, as well as American ales brewed in the European style and cocktails.

Bronwyn will initially open for dinner, with brunch and “late-night sausage” to follow. Guests can begin making reservations on May 11 by calling 617-776-9900.
