Breaking: Sunday's GoogaMooga Cancelled Due to Weather

The Great GoogaMooga Festival can't catch a break. The organizers were intent on redeeming themselves for the second-go round of the Brooklyn-based festival, which had a rocky start last May. By all accounts, day one was a huge success, but this AM the weather got in the way. After posting Facebook updates about how they wouldn't be deterred by "a few sprinkles" the organizers and the NYC Parks Department have cancelled the event 90 minutes into the festivities. They issued the following statement:

Due to poor weather, the New York City Parks Department, Prospect Park Alliance, and Googamooga have decided to cancel today's festival in the interest of safety and prevention of damage to the park grounds. All Sunday VIP ticket purchases will be refunded in full.
